Traveling

“We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.”
— Anaïs Nin.

Part of the life of a journalist is traveling; there is no destination without a process, and like all series of evolutionary acts, observing the world that surrounds us is part of the growth that expands us.
With everything learned, carried out and collected, we spend time traveling to renew ourselves with the material and not to lose contact with a reality bigger than everyday life.
We fit into societies a lot different from ours and approach the challenge of adapting to a “maelstrom of personalities” that we would have never experienced if we had not risked our comfort zone. We recommend eliminating television completely from your lives and leaving room for the creation of your own stories in pursuit of the inner nomad that shares movies in real time.

Meditation

“Suffering is due to our disconnection with the inner soul. Meditation is establishing that connection.”
— Amit Ray.

Of all the spiritual exercises that could give us balance and emotional stability, we have realized that meditation contributes deeply to the digging up of some old programing that conditioned us to be slaves of our past. Beaten by our feelings and manipulated by our intellect without a spiritual routine, it is easy to be disappointed with the ups and downs of life.

I suggest that you try it, knowing in advance that meditation is a process, which according to your discipline, can be shorter or longer. Below we have added an article that will help you understand this choice that can definitely change you for the better.

Healthy Habits

“When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.”
Ayurvedic proverb.

If we really want to make a change in our lives, we must train physically, spiritually and intellectually, and food is the fuel for this sophisticated machinery to last long and be able to concentrate for long periods of time fulfilling its role: letting us play freely without feeling tired. We are passing through a period of planet Earth in which we do not have enough time to cook and eat healthy, so then we are left without energy to achieve our goals. Your daily performance is the result of your diet. In the inspiring documentary “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead”, the director invites us to organize our digestive system to change our quality of life.

Exercise

If there is no time to move the body, what kind of life are we leading?

Nothing you do not know, so walking for at least an hour and a half per day should be as important as the deadline at the office, since a boss does not forgive, nor does the body…
